Xandra Eden became Executive Director & Chief Curator of DiverseWorks, a multidisciplinary art space in Houston, Texas, in 2015. She was formerly Curator of Exhibitions at the Weatherspoon Art Museum at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she organized over 50 exhibitions and publications of work by national and international artists. Recent major exhibitions include "Pablo Helguera: The Fable Is to Be Retold" (2016), "Katie Grinnan: Nocturnal Hologram" (2015), "Zones of Contention: After the Green Line" (2015), "Nancy Rubins: Drawing, Sculpture, Studies" (2014), and "Diana Al-Hadid" (2013). Eden formerly was Assistant Curator at The Power Plant, Toronto, Canada and held positions at the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, New York, NY and Women & Their Work and Texas Fine Arts Association (now The Contemporary Austin) in Austin, TX.
